A quality precision magnifier with a highly polished aplanatic silicate glass lens (distortion free) of exceptional quality. The silicate glass optics used are scratch- and solvent resistant making this magnifier all the more durable. In its fabrication of the lens, a UV absorbing optical crown is used, as with prescription glasses with a refractive index of n=1.52.

The protective soft-case in picture 4 is highly recommended and can be added.
